About Overmorrow
"Overmorrow" literally means "the day after tomorrow," but it's also an archaic term. There is a subtle tension there, in using an obsolete word for the future.
I have been a frequent poster on Mastodon for a few years (if it's still early days for Overmorrow as you read this introduction, Mastodon is most likely how you found it). In between the weird shitposts, the dad jokes, and the malapropisms, I sometimes post about tech. I mock headlines. I critique software. I enthuse about gadgets I enjoy. I make fun of "AI," and its true believers.
This has always been a part of my online life I wanted to expand, to take more seriously. This newsletter, this site, is my place to do that. And an opportunity to try more ambitious things—posts that go beyond 500 characters, that germinate for more than a few minutes.
Beyond that, I can't really say what Overmorrow will be. Hopefully I'll remember to come back and update this page, once I have a better idea of that.
In addition to this site, you can see more of my ahem writing on Mastodon, where I am @maxleibman@beige.party. I have worked in corporate IT and software project management for nearly a decade, and have been a tech enthusiast much longer than that.
I'm Max Leibman. This is Overmorrow. Subscribe, and let's find out what the day after tomorrow holds.
